Chickensoft Sudoku featured on Softpedia
Posted by ElPolloDiablo, September 26th 2011
Softpedia just added Chickensoft Sudoku to their database of Mac apps. Of course, it works on Windows and Linux as well, and I've personally tested it on all systems. The only thing I have found not to work, is user interface switching on Linux. I guess I should update the program now with the features I've wanted to add before: Sudoku X, Killer Sudoku, faster solvers, more options for the generator (symmetry on/off, half-symmetric, etc.).

We just released a visual key logger, or key press visualizer, for Windows called KeyViz. It's available from the tools page.
Sudoku

Last week I uploaded a Sudoku program that I made as part of a class at my university. With it, you can create, play and solve sudoku boards. It can also generate boards up to a size of 16x16 (in theory it can make much larger boards, but the creation time increases exponentially, so I removed support for larger boards).
You can find the program on the Games page.
Tools section and the D-Link DHCP Fixer tool
Posted by ElPolloDiablo, March 29th 2010
I completely forgot that I added a new Tools section about a month or so back. Mainly to add the D-Link DHCP Fix(er) tool I wrote to simplify DHCP renewal for my D-Link DIR-615 router.
The tool has been localized in English and Norwegian. If you'd like to translate it into some other language, or you want support for some other router that fails to automatically renew DHCP, please send me an e-mail.
Preparations for new Chickensoft website.

Hi, the last couple of days I've been looking at a lot of things I want to implement in the new Chickensoft website. Although I already started planning the creation of a new site back in November, shortly after becoming an independent contractor, I haven't really done much. There's a lot of things I need to do to get all the things I want working.
Here's a small to-do list:
- Colour the new logo.
- Design the site
- Clean up databases and add new data
- Create a blog system that connects with the forum
- Implement Akismet for the blog
- Implement Bad Behavior for the whole site
- Purge the forums
- Implement Gravatar in the blog
That's what I have for now, the blog system is also going to be fully multi-lingual, meaning support for more languages can be added to the blog and blog posts and comments can be posted in multiple languages.
By the way, I changed avatars in the forums to use Gravatars (www.gravatar.com), that's it for now.
